LFHS Reunion

Saturday Sept. 27th was my 10 year hs reunion from Lake Fenton High School Class of '98. I was very ify on if I wanted to attend it or not. I finally decided to go after a friend of mine asked me a few times and told me to think about it. I wasn't very fond of my hs very much suince quite a lot of kids made it hell for me in school...they were mostly the preppy asshole jocks. They thought they were everything back then. Not everyone was that way and you (I) forgot somewhat of those kid I did like. So the night arrived and I had such a great time! Only a few of the PAJ attended. Belive me they weren't at all all that that they thought they were back then. mIt was great seeing all the people I liked and talking about new and old times. It was one BIG party shortly afterwards. TThere was reminicing, dancing, flirting, drinks, food and more... It was a great time, I hope we don't wait another 10 years!

The XXIX Olympics and Michael Phelps

Hi Everyone~

On 08-08-2008 at 8:08 the XXIX Olympics began in Beijing, China. I'm not much of a sports watcher or fan but when the Olympics roll around I watch them regularly. The events I like are swimming, track & field and gymnastics. My favorite is the swimming and I didn't miss one final with Micheal Phelps in it, I think I saw all those semis as well. I was all for him to achieve his goal of 8 gold medals surpassing Mark Spitz 7 golds in a single Olympics. Last night I went to the mall with my sister and mom., I momentarily forgot about his race. I asked a few store cashiers if they knew what time it was on, I also called home to ask Rick a few times. I finally got a hold of him and he told me 10:58. We had plenty of time to shop a little get home and eat dinner. The Men's 400M Medley Relay finally came on and I was anxious the whole time. Micheal had to rely on his 3 other teammates this time...but they all pulled through. I was happy for Michael achieved his goal. Learning that 8 is a lucky number in China and knowing the Olympics began on 08-08-2008 at 8:08 and also that Micheal won an amazing 8 golds, I thought it was cute that the number 8 has played a part in Izzy's and my life lately as well. 'Still Dancing' in progress

Hi everyone~

I want to tell you all how the progress of my book 'Still Dancing' is coming along and when is should be out. Mom, Donna and I are working feverishly nearly 24/7 to complete our part which is the writing part of the book. Mom and I are working diligently finishing up the endings of 2 chapters and then we send them to Donna via e-mail so she can go through and "flower" it up and make it flow smoother to the reader. Mom and I are picking out pictures which include family and speaking engagement photos. Including hand written letters, colorful drawings and guestbook comments mostly from students from over the years will be in the book. I have already picked out the guestbook comments I want to be among these. We are steadily working to get our part completed so we can meet our deadline. At that time we will turn in the manuscript to be edited and printed. The result of this will be the Galle, a mock book, which we will go over and critique for any minor changes that we see need to be corrected. When this process is finished 'Still Dancing' will be printed. We are ambitiously pushing for this book to meet our desired release date which is shortly before Christmas '08. Please be on the lookout for 'Still Dancing' to be in your local bookstore, libraries, school libraries etc... I have already been asked to do a book signing at our local Barnes & Noble.
